Prairie Speedworks

Science-backed coaching that builds faster, stronger, more resilient athletes — from high school hopefuls to elite performers.

01.

WHO ARE WE?

Prairie Speedworks is a high-performance training company built on biomechanics, movement science, and the relentless pursuit of athlete development. We help athletes move faster, stronger, and more efficiently by combining evidence-based methods with coaching that’s personal, precise, and intentional. Every session is designed to sharpen speed, enhance power, and build durable athletes who understand how their bodies move. We don’t chase trends—we build long-term performance through proven systems and professional coaching relationships. Our mission is simple: elevate athletes so they can perform at their highest level, season after season.

02.

WHO WE WORK WITH

We work with athletes who want more—more speed, more power, more confidence, and more clarity in how they move. From emerging youth athletes learning the foundations to elite competitors chasing milliseconds, we train those who are hungry to grow and willing to put intention behind their goals. We partner with athletes who love the process as much as the outcome, who want coaching that sees them as a person, not a number. Parents trust us with their kids because they know we build athletes who are strong, skilled, and resilient—not just fast for a season, but prepared for a lifetime. If you’re driven, curious, and ready to unlock the next level of your performance, this is where you belong. Our athletes and former athletes have played in the NCAA, NAIA, USports, WHL, MJHL, BCHL, and even internationally.

OUR STORY & EVOLUTION

What began as a small track-and-field club in Neepawa has grown into something far bigger than any of us imagined. Under the name Prairie Storm Athletics, we started with just a handful of dedicated athletes — but over time, we evolved into a regional force with 30+ committed members competing across Western Manitoba. Those athletes didn’t just participate; they succeeded — winning high school championships, earning provincial team spots, breaking provincial records, and even claiming national titles. Events from 100 m to 400 m, 800 m, triple jump, high jump and more — our athletes proved elite performance is possible even without fancy indoor tracks or high-end facilities. One of our proudest moments came when a young jumper from our club earned the national youth high-jump gold — the first individual national medal for Prairie Storm. As time passed, life and family commitments made it difficult to maintain the club at the same level — but our passion for coaching and athlete development stayed as strong as ever. That’s why we transformed. Prairie Storm Athletics became Prairie Speedworks: the same commitment to speed, movement, and performance — with a broader, deeper focus. Now, we coach not just sprinters or jumpers, but athletes from any sport, at any level, who want to move better, become more powerful, stay resilient, and perform their best when it counts. We still respect our track-and-field roots — many of our programs remain centered around sprinting, jumping, and natural movement — but Prairie Speedworks represents growth. It’s about taking every lesson we learned from those early days and applying them to holistic athlete performance. From local track meets to provincial championships and national podiums, those wins built our foundation. Now, our mission is bigger: to help athletes across sports become stronger, faster, more confident — and to carry forward a legacy of excellence, grit, and real development.Join us, and be part of the next chapter.
